magic movie cropping photos

Hello - On my iPhone when I use magic movie on photos taken vertically, it doesn't adjust for vertical and instead is zoomed in and cuts off half the photo. The "edit" icon is not active when I try and edit the photo, so I am forced not to use any vertical photos. Any suggestions on how to resolve?

Photo selection lock screen keeps zooming in photos I have a rotating selection of photos (photo selection in customization) for my lock screen. My IPhone keeps zooming in on every photo for some reason, possibly repositioning entirely. Does anyone have a solution for this? I thought after positioning the images manually myself they would stay in that position, but I guess not. 1st image is what I set the zoom the be, the 2nd is what it eventually gets to.

Portrait and Cinematic editing functions suddenly missing on new shots from iPhone I upgraded to IOS 16 and it seems that now, any photos taken with portrait mode on or any videos taken with cinematic mode on, are missing the corresponding edit function on other devices. For example, I take a portrait photo on iPhone 13 pro. I can edit the portrait aperture, etc. on the iPhone, but once I try to do the same in the photos app on a Mac or on an iPad, the portrait editing functions are missing. It shows up with a portrait label, but I am not able to change the aperture as no option is showing up anymore. Older photos and new photos taken with iPad running ios15 are doing fine. So, obviously a bug with IOS16?

This is so typical.....they make a new 'feature' .......99% of people photos are vertical, and its a huge stuggle and waste of time, like everything else in imodium......they need a complete redesign .....or AT LEAST make the template adjustable for normal humans..........good lord did no one even try this feature with regular pictures?!?!?!?!
