unlock your iPhone, browse to Account Security on any device, select 'Continue on Device', open the 2FA banner which appears on the iPhone, scroll to the bottom where it says 'TRUSTED PHONE NUMBERS' & pick EDIT. Minus-bar will remove a listed number and Add a Trusted Phone Number does just that.
"Trusted phone numbers are used to verify your identity and help recover your account if you forgot your password."
