I am wanting to create a formula so that if the percentage difference is outside of 5%
either above or below), acceptable states NO. Therefore is the % difference is +/- 4.9% acceptable is YES.
I would most appreciate if someone could please point me in the right direction. It has been some time since I have done formulas and I can't seem to get it right.

2nd post: My formula is not distinguishing between positive and minus. By the way, I have now changed it to 4%.
Try this:
By the way, I have turned off Use header names as labels in Numbers > Settings > General. I find that easier to create and debug formulas.

So.....I managed to work this out....but there is a problem. My formula is not distinguishing between positive and minus. By the way, I have now changed it to 4%.
