Yahoo Email

I took my phone to Best Buy yesterday and they said that my problem necessitated putting on the Yahoo subscription service that costs $20. a month. My problem with the email initially was that I was not receiving it!

After their "help" I got new email but the past emails (yesterday's and before then) were sent to trash. When I returned home, I realized the problem was not solved!

Old emails randomly scroll back several months while viewing current email. I will be reading email (the most current one first) and then go to a different app for a moment, but when I return to my email - it had gone back several months. Today is 9/23 and it went back to April. It took me a moment or two trying to figure out why my credit card was offering me a bonus if I used Apple Pay with the offer ending 4/24/24. Why would email go back to April (or some other random date/month) if I was last reading new ones?

How do I stop receiving emails on this platform or can it be stored viewed somewhere the reason for my question is because they’re simply no room to store all the unread emails and there’s no time to go through all of them trying to help or learning Hello everyone The issue had been experiencing is I receive a very large amount of emails in this platform on a daily basis although some are very helpful when needed and if it’s there to reach out and get an answer that’s fine but I am getting an excess of 50 to 60 emails a day and I have something like 4000 unopened emails from here. I’ve hit unsubscribe a few times. I really don’t know what to do. Is there any answer here as to how to do this please advise. I have a couple of options from Apple support, which I’ll be following, but in case somebody else has experienced this and has something to perhaps help me out and some advice to offer that would be Great thank you

You certainly don’t need a subscription to use Yahoo. I don’t pay.

Are you using the inbuilt email client?

Have you deleted the account & set it up again? Perhaps it requires authenticating & this would do that. It should show a screen asking if you’d like to connect your Yahoo account to the email app.
