Refurbished Airpods Pro keeps disconnecting and reconnecting after troubleshooting and resetting

I bought refurbished Airpod Pros from Mercari and they keep disconnecting and reconnecting. I have reset them multiple times. What else can I do? I have reset them and restarted my phone at the same time and this same issue occurs.
