So I had gunk in the top vent of my AirPods but when it tried to get it out I couldn’t, even with a brush or anything else, which made it pretty much unusable (like you were putting your finger over the top vent) I cant find any solution or anything which helps or any official / unofficial guides. help!

The best way to get that earwax out of the top vent would be by loosening it with +70% Isopropyl alcohol and then trying to use a tooth pick to *lightly* scrape away some of the EarWax. There is also a new AirPod cleaning kit from Belkin that I've heard that has been really affective in cleaning out earwax.
