Reminder Search Not working

When I search in the Reminders app, it is inconsistent…I can find certain words, but when I search other words I get no results. Same search works on the same reminders on my wife's phone.

iOS 18 Reminders search fails to find many completed items. When Searching for some items in the iOS 18 Reminders app, often completed items are not found using the Search function. Going to the list where the item should be, showing completed items, and manually scrolling through down through the completed reminders will locate it. By “uncompleting" the target item, search will find it. This bug has happened before in other major updates and is eventually fixed; meanwhile, however, it’s a big time-wasting nuisance!

Reminders search on iPhone doesn't find existing items Search within Reminders on iPhone won't find items that clearly exist, whether or not they are checked off; the same search on Mac finds the item, however. I've tried unchecking the options under System Settings->Reminders->Search, rebooting my phone, then rechecking them, but the bug still reproduces. This has existed over many versions of iOS, and I'm finding it very frustrating that it continues to go unfixed.
