2022 Silverado can't find iPhone14 Pro hotspot.

The 2022 Silverado 1500 Refresh network is looking for a WPA2 security and can't find my iPhone 14 Pro hot spot. The truck will connect to my home network with no problems. Our Ipad, computers and printer connect to my phone's hot spot with no problems. Both the truck and phone have the latest updates. What do i need to change to get the truck to connect to the phone's hot spot? I don't what to pay for On Star data.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

According to If Personal Hotspot is not working on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) - Apple Support

You can turn on Maximize Compatibility in the Personal Hotspot screen to allow devices that do not support WPA3. Although it's mentioned in a Bluetooth section, which might be a mistake.

Yes, the phone is unlocked and the wifi hot spot is turned on. I am on the screen that shows the pass word. The truck says that it will only connect to networks that are WPS2 encrypted. If the iPhone has a different encription than WPS2 then that might be the resion that it doesn't show up or connect. I read some where that the the later iPhone software has change the encryption to WPS3. I can type in the name of the hotspot and pass word into the truck's networks page then get the message that it will only connect to WPS2 encrypted networks.
