Sharing your AppleID credentials with anyone, trusted or otherwise, is not advisable - as the possibility of being locked-out of your own account is significantly more likely than would otherwise be the case. An error made by others, or malicious intent, can lead to loss of control of your AppleID account.

If only your AppleID account password has been changed, you should be able to recover access to your account. If, however, your AppleID primary email address has been changed, or your trusted devices deleted from your account, your account can become unrecoverable.
As a last resort, you can attempt to solicit assistance from Apple Support - but be aware that the standard of proof necessary to demonstrate that you are the true owner of the account is very high:
