Apple started numbering from ‘1’ after the 4th generation model. 🤔 😕

Apple TV 4K (1st generation) could be considered 5th. [2017]

Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) could be considered 6th. [2021]

Apple TV 4K (3rd generation, Wi-Fi) could be considered 7th. [2022] [current model]

Apple TV 4K (3rd generation, Wi-Fi + Ethernet) could be considered 8th. [2022] [current model]

  10. More RAM memory available for apps that can use that.
  11. HDMI 2.1 on the 2021 or later models. (HDMI 1.4 on the 4th generation model.)
