I cannot access one of my iCloud accounts due to two factor authentication where the phone no longer has service. This is a work phone and my employer wants to retire the device.

I (regrettably) created a personal iCloud account in a company phone. I also set up two factor authentication to

that phone line, which is no longer in service. My company wants to retire that phone, but needs my password. I cannot retrieve my password due to the two factor authentication which will only offer to send a verification code the phone which is no longer in service. What other way can I change this password?

Hi Lkin4hlp,

If you still have the phone signed in with your Apple ID, you don't need to receive the two-factor verification code via text message, you should get a prompt right on the device if you're connected to the internet.

You can also generate a new code in Settings:

Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication

If instead you've forgotten your password, lost access to your trusted phone numbers, and lost access to all logged in trusted devices, then you have no choice but to use Account Recovery:
