Making a group text of unsaved numbers

Less of a question and more of a solution. I needed to send a group text to multiple numbers not saved in my phone. That pesky little + button worked for the first 3 but then became unreachable as the list got longer. Not a comma on the keyboard to be found! So frustrating!

The only solution I found was to enter the numbers into notes separated by a comma and then copy and paste it when you open a new text. It worked perfectly.

if anyone knows of an easier way speak up!

Hey there FarmGirl44,

We're not quite understanding what it is that's occurring when trying to add more contacts to send a group message, but we'd like to help by learning more about what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:

  1. What exactly occurs after entering three contacts for a group message using the '+' symbol within Messages? The details you provided do not describe exactly what occurs, but the more details you provide, the better we'll understand what's happening.
  2. Was there a time where you didn't have any issues adding contacts to send a group message, and if yes, when did this start?
  3. If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.4.1(a). You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.

Cheers!
