How do I connect the microphone to my new laptop? I have rebooted and used different adaptors to connect the USB to the laptop. HELP

Try a different USB cable. The USB cable on my Yeti Blue failed. I've never seen that before. I've seen Apple cables disintegrate, but they still work.
I have switched out the cables. Didn't make a difference. The Microphone is getting power as the green light is on the microphone when plugged in. The laptop doesn't recognize it in the settings.
This must be related to the M2 chip. Anyone out there able to make their Yeti X work/install on a Macbook Pro with an M2 chip?
I don't know about a Yeti X, but my Yeti Blue works just fine on an M2 Pro mini. Doesn't matter if I have it plugged into a powered USB hub, or directly to a Thunderbolt port (with an adapter) on the Mac.
