Can't load MacMail

Greetings!

I had to erase my SSD on my Mac Mini and merge data from my laptop to my 2015 Mac Mini. However when I try to launch MacMail it says I don't enough space. Photos and business files are stored in iCloud, and there's still 642 GB available.

Any suggestions?

Mail MacOS Ventura 395 Gb free but Mail says not enough space available I have 395 GB free of 8GB in my home folder on my Mac mini M2. This is running on a Crucial X8 SSD. Attempting to use mail in Ventura I repeatedly get the message "The Import Failed. An error occurred during the import Make sure you have available space in you home folder and try again" !! The "best" that has occurred after reboots has been a start to download the mail data which has quickly failed. This is an infuriating failure - can someone please explain what causes this, how it occurs and, of course, how to fix it? Thanks TerryB

help-Mac Mail rebuild in process with 30K emails, just started messages upload OVER!? ....recently needed to rebuild email on our MAC because it wasn't loading or working after getting MAC screen replaced. While the rebuild was processing I put Mac in sleep mode before bed last night and thought that the emails would keep rebuilding until done-but it started over back to 0 -when I just logged in this morning. At 5k loaded right now.

one thing that's always worked for me is restarting my mac. if that doesn't work, reply back.
