I phone 13 froze can get into texts, email just blank screens, can't use waze, and can't shut off

I phoned Apple support about mt iPhone XR freezing up on me and white screens during delays to review texts and Emails. I clicked on a specific Email and the screen went white again. The Apple Rep was unable to share my screen after 3 attempts. We backed up the data as she recommended we wiper it clean.
