keynote Offline Error

Hello,

No support from Apple for Keynote? Not even an option on their website or in the App Store except thru this forum that I could find. I can get to the Keynote support page, but nothing on there is helpful or allows for support requests except thru this forum.

I've been using Keynote since it came out. Great and easy to use program. The latest updates have added an annoyance. Keynote keeps giving the following error; "High-resolution versions of placeholder images and slide backgrounds will download the next time you’re online." I can find no way to work around this error.

I need to be able to use Keynote offline. None of our presentation computers are online. Nor is it feasible or safe to show up somewhere and have to get connected online via a someone's internet for our shows. The only internet we have is thru our phone's limited hotspot so our work computers are also not usually online.

A. Most all of my presentations have no Apple assets in them. All the graphics are mine, usually2k or 4k, and HDR. The graphics have never been online. I can view the Keynote file as a package and verify there are no graphics but my own in the presentation. I made a point of creating a totally empty template that I start with when creating my own templates.

B. There should be an option to download all Keynote's templates to a computer to avoid this error.

C Having to go to an Apple server to get graphics every time you open a presentation is very inefficient; a waste of data, unnecessarily creating more internet traffic than needed, and using more energy than required - i.e. not green Apple.

Can Apple please fix this? This support request is for Keynote on Mac OS Catalina - Monterey

Thank You,

David Paul
