You need to update your device OS. You can do this by going to Settings > General > Software Update. If an update to iOS 15 or higher is available, then choose to update. If you do not see an update available, you will likely need a newer device.
Leonb13 - there can be several reasons for this issue, even if you have the right iOS. What happens when you try to download? What is the error message? What iPhone or iPad are you using?
