Viewing Music by Genre On the Music App:

1. Open: Music app
2. Click: Songs (far-left of screen)
3. Click: View menu
4. Hover Over: Sort By.
5. Select: Genre

In the Sidebar hover to the right of Library and select edit and tick Genres.

If you are viewing your library by Songs, enable Column Browser from the View menu. By right clicking on the column headers you can turn columns on or off. One option is Genres; click on a genre to just display that genre. When you are done, click on the label to display all genres again.
