how can i backup my text messages

I need to back up my text messages. Please help

If you are using iCloud Syncing for Messages, they are not part of your back up.

I recommend that, if keeping your messages is important to you, that archive them to your computer using an application such as iMazing (Mac) or TouchCopy (Mac or Windows). Both will allow you to archive your messages as pdf or text files.
