HomePod mini does not want to play my music on Deezer. Everything is setup, Deezer is added to Home and set as default music. All devices are up to date.

HomePod mini automatically plays Apple Music one I have signed out and deleted Apple Music from all of my devices. Even though I never used Apple Music to begin with, I also turned off handoff from my iPhone and iPad. Whenever I tap my HomePod mini, it still automatically connects to Apple Music one and plays some terrible track that I would never listen to. I’ve reached out to technical support and they are clueless - I’ve been asked to reset the device four different times, questioned on what kind of charger I use, I’ve spent hours of my time for no resolution. Please, how can I get my HomePod to stop playing music from an app that I do not even have?

HomePod Mini no longer playing ambient sounds HomePod Mini is no longer playing ambient sounds. I’ve tried several different ways of asking but it just plays various playlists now from Apple Music instead of from the HomePod’s ambient sound collection. This seems to have started after the latest HomePod software updates that came out along IOS 16. Anyone been able to get the HomePod to play ambient sounds lately?

Videos interrupt music on HomePod I bought a HomePod mini to listen to classical music. That’s all I want to do on it - don’t need it to do anything else. How can I make it just work for the Apple Music and Classical apps? If I’m browsing FB or the news or anything else with video on my iPhone it interrupts the music on my HomePod and starts playing there. I’ve checked all the settings and can’t find anything. I turned off all the AirPlay handoff settings and it still does it. I want the HomePod to only ever be used for playing music from Apple Music or Classical. I bought it to replace an Amazon Echo thinking it would be better, but this is actually worse.
