Premiere pro slow to import on brand new macbook pro M2 32 GB memory

Small five minute clips that import immediately on my HP take many minutes to import into PP on my new macbook pro m2/32GB. I bought the laptop specifically to have a fast functioning machine for video editing, so this is upsetting. I'm hopeful that someone has experienced this too and found a simple solution in settings.

iMovie 10 project stuck importing clips Bummer. Hours of work creating new 37 minute iMovie v10.4 project. Half the video Clips placed in timeline from Photos v10.0 have red bar across bottom. iMovie import won't import all files I'm creating first ever video on iMovie. I have 17 clips recorded with Quick time player - both movie recording and screen recording. I was able to add first 6 clips and while trying to add next two clips, nothing happens. I am able to add other clips. So the problem is that I can add some, but for some reason not all. Anyone else had the same problem? How did you solve it out? I did already try these: There is a lot free space on my computer, so that is not the problem (also I can add a 6 min clip but not 1-2 min clip) I found an old solution here in the community to delete preferences, did that also, but it did not help. (Tried even twice) Thanks! BR Maarit

Final Cut not exporting clips — stuck at 0%. Otherwise normal operation. Final Cut has become somewhat useless for my needs and I am considering switching programs after 20 years. I have on multiple occasions tried to export multiple clips from a time line, only to have the expat go nowhere. Findal cut still full operates, just can not export while clips are stuck at 0%. I have restarted, trashed preferences and cache, reimported the footage. This is not just happening on a single project, but one after another after another. I spend house going through footage and searching parts of clips to export, only to have it completely stall out. Sometimes it never even starts when exporting - just goes back to normal state - though this seems to be a different issue. This is becoming frustrating enough I'm not sure I can continue with the product. It's basically costing me thousands of dollars in billable hours and at this point I'd be better off using Premiere, which I really just don't like. PLEASE HELP! Does anyone ave any suggestions. this is killing my business. System Specs: Mac Studio ultra m1 with 128GB ram, Tahoe 26.2, Final Cut 11.2
