Messages syncs incoming messages, but no longer syncs deleted messages between devices

I have Messages set up in iCloud and set to sync between two devices (my MacBook Pro and iPhone). The Messages sync incoming, but if I delete a message from either device, it doesn't sync the deletion. This wasn't the case until Ventura. I've tried signing out of iCloud on both devices, turning off Message syncing and this hasn't worked.

Messages not Syncing Across Devices I have tried all the advice from Apple support to get messages to sync across all my Apple devices more than once. Shut everything down and then logged back into iCloud. No change. Messages deleted on iphone don't delete on Mac or ipad. Message deleted on Mac still appears on iphone. This used to be so easy and automatic and now it is not happening. Since there is no way to select multiple messages for deletion on my Mac it is a real chore to keep it cleaned up. It looks like only solution is to turn off Messages on all devices except for my iphone and just work from that.

Messages are not syncing to all devices I have an iphone 16 pro max, 2024 imac, and new macbook air. (iphone and imac sync together). i cannot get messages to sync to the macbook air. however, messages can be seen on macbook air. if i delete a message on iphone, it will delete on imac but not on macbook air. i am signed into the same apple icloud account on all devices. both macs running latest version of sequoia. help!

2024 and still, messages in iCloud aren't syncing to all devices?? I am just so fed up with constantly trying to figure out why devices quit syncing whether it is messages or photos or whatever. Now it is iMessage, I see the messages on my iPhone 14MaxPro, current IOS and they do not sync to my MacBook Pro, current OS. In settings I press sync, I sign out of iCloud I sign back in, I press sync again, I reboot all systems.... NOTHING works, over and over and over again. I am so tired of searching this forum and finding the same answers for the same issues and none of it works. Over and over and over. I am probably in violation of the rules at this point. Oh well, that won't fix it either.
