Malware

When I boot up Safari I sometimes get a popup purporting to be Macafee and it start to run a "scan" saying I have been infected. The site goes to a comcobaricasted.com which is a blank address but traced to Iceland. I can't seem to find it in order to delete it. What should I do?

Troubleshooting Malware and Safari:

Perform the following, then see if it opens as it should.

A. Clear the Temporary Internet Files:

B. Scan your Mac for Malware: Malicious Software:

Malware is malicious software that makes your device(MacBook Air) act in a mislead-manor. So, scan with it, and then remove what is found, from the quarantine.
