Re-set of phone when attached apple ID has been deleted

I just purchased a first phone for my 11-year old daughter - a secondhand iphone 8. I booted up the phone and created an apple ID for her. We shortly after had to delete the ID, as we for uknown reasons could not make it work or family-pair it with her mom's ID. So we thought: let's try again from the start since it had'nt been used yet and have her mon make one.

Unfortunately we forgot to reset the phone before the ID was deleted by apple.

So now I can't be allowed to re-set the phone completely back to original settings and delete old inputs, unless given access by my daughters apple ID - which does'nt exist anymore. It needs the password to disable the 'Find'-functionality and activation-lock. Doh!

How do I get out of that problem?

Carefully and thoroughly read this for information about what happens when you delete your Apple ID account. For example:

"Make sure that you sign out of all your devices to avoid issues with apps that use your Apple ID account or iCloud. After your account is deleted, you can't sign out of iCloud or turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock on your devices. If you forget to sign out, you might not be able to use your device when your account is deleted."
