When I'm looking the size of the photo in iCloud it says 856Go but when I'm looking in Photos on my iMac it says only 472Go... Do you know how to clean the online library ?
I have nothing in my "recent deleted" & nothing hidden...

The Photos.app is showing you the current sizes of the rendered final versions of your Photos. But the library in iCloud is much larger than the totals sizes of all media. Photos is always storing the original file plus the instructions how to create the edited versions, plus thumbnails, previews, faces. This can increase the size of the library by up to 25%, if all adjustments are done in Photos. And much larger, if you are using external editors. Some external editors are creating huge edited versions to preserve the quality and editing the photos can double the size of your library. Have your Photos been externally edited?
Thanks for your answer but here we are talking of the double ! 400Go... I'm keeping only unedited photos in apple photos so it cannot be that.
I think it's more a pb of migration of my 400Go of library from the personal to the shared one => iCloud seems to have kept the photos somewhere in the personal environment (but in photos app it says that I have no personal photos, all are in the shared library)
Any Idea to check that ?
Are you the owner of the Shared iCloud Photos Library? Then the shared photos will count against your cloud storage.
I am not using "Optimize Mac Storage" on my main macs.
