Hey there, illianq,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

If your touch screen isn't responding to any of your swipes or gestures, then we would recommend starting with the steps in this article: If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support. We'll paste the relevant information below, as well, for ease of access since these steps will oftentimes resolve this type of issue.

If your screen is too sensitive or responds intermittently to touch
1. Restart your iPhone or iPad.
2. Make sure that your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
3. Disconnect any Lightning or USB-C accessories. If your screen works after removing an accessory, try using a different outlet, cable, or charger.
4. Remove any cases or screen protectors.

If those steps don't do the trick, you may want to have your iPhone inspected in person for a potential repair. You can start a service request at this link: iPhone Repair & Service - Apple Support

We hope that this information is helpful.

Have a great day!
