If I get a new Iphone will my subscriptions start over?

Assuming that you “migrate” from your old phone to your new and keep using the same AppleID, all subscriptions and apps will keep on running as before.

Subscriptions On a New Device:

Some installs go by device. So, if purchased from a third party (i.e. Microsoft), ask the Developer for a new install key.

Your AppleCare+ subscription will start over, if you choose to buy that with the new iPhone.

AFAIK, you might get a pro-rated refund for the remaining portion of the existing AppleCare+ subscription/

Tip for migrating:

GO SLOWLY

Read and carefully re-read and be sure of EXACTLY what the screen displays are asking you to enter at each step.

This is NOT the time to rush.

It’s also NOT the time to try to change passwords or passcodes. (save that for later)

Lastly, DON’T erase your old phone at the end.

Wait a few days until you’re sure that the new phone “got everything” … then you can wipe your old phone.
