Ensure that you have updated your iPad and iPhone to the most version - at time of writing, this being iOS/iPadOS 16.4.1(a).

This version includes essential system security updates.

If you have already updates your devices to the recent version, perform a forced-restart os both devices. A restart will often clear an isolated software issue:

Force restart iPad - Apple Support

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

For AirDrop, also ensure that both WiFi and Bluetooth are enabled on both devices.

If the problem persists after performing the restart, it may be necessary to reset your iPad settings. While this reset will not cause any loss of data, as a precaution, it is always wise to ensure that you have a current iCloud or iTunes backup before performing the reset:

When you are happy to proceed, you can perform the reset from iPad settings:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset All Settings

If the problem still doesn’t clear, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support.

Alternatively and perhaps easier, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

It did not work. iPad still not receiving. iPad can airdrop to iPhone with no issue but iPhone to iPad it is not working. iPhone just state " Waiting " and nothing happens on the iPad side.

Both has the latest iOS.

iPhone can see the iPad in airdrop.

Force restart both several times.

iPhone can see the iPad Pro.

Both are in the same network.

Both devices are connected in Bluetooth. Both devices pair successfully.

is there anything else I can check ? Thanks.
