How to ask for a subscription refund when Apple ID does not show any record of it?

The app nebula took me $19 out of my bank account and I didn’t do the trial or signed up for a subscription and my Apple ID does not show and record of it but my bank account shows it was taken out. What do I need to do to get a refund?

When I clicked your link Nebula was not in the active nor inactive section of my subscriptions, because of the fact that I never agreed to a subscription, however they still tried to charge my card. I checked this myself when i was charged by going to my name in settings and then the subscription section. If I never had my card locked I would have also been charged the $19 as well. This app is a scam and they are trying to charge ppl’s card information unknowingly. This makes me feel like my info was accessed by them somehow without my consent…

I was charged through my Apple Cash $19.00 for a subscription that I did not authorize nor is not attached to my phone. Yes, I did check my subscriptions from my Apple ID. I also never downloaded the app. I did "Report and Issue" with Apple Cash and indicated that I never authorized the payment. I also did some research on the Nebula website about cancellations and found that when I entered my email address (I checked all of my email addresses), one of them was linked to Nebula and stated that I was on the "hook" for $19.00 every 2 weeks. I recommend anyone with this issue visit the following pages:

Hope this helps.

I did not download the Nebula app and I did not sign up for a "free trial" but I did complete a questionnaire where they were supposed to email me results of the questionnaire. I never received the results of the questionnaire and somehow, just having my email, they accessed the card on my Apply Pay account. I honestly have no idea how they did it but they also set up an automatic "subscription" withdrawal via PayPal since my Apple Pay and PayPal accounts use the same card. Presently canceling my bank card as that seems to be the only recourse. Scary stuff people. FIRST red flag - the company is registered out of Cyprus. BTW, in PayPal, Nebula is listed as "Obrio Limited."

I went onto the nebula website and was able to contact there customer support. They replied via email and after some negotiations I was able to secure a refund.

They will try to justify these charges and explain why they took them but if you stay adamant that you didn’t authorise this and they have been take in error you should get a refund. They tried to offer me 50% back at first but I refused and eventually got it all.

Here's how to request an app or media refund from Apple (From: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support - see the article for more detail.)

1. Sign in to https://reportaproblem.apple.com

2. Tap or click "I'd like to," then choose "Request a refund."

3. Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next.

4. Choose the app, subscription, or other item, then choose Submit. If you were charged for a subscription that you no longer want, you can also cancel the subscription using the directions in this article --> If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

If you downloaded the app, it activates a free trial automatically which will renew into a paid subscription. You agree to this by downloading the app.

You can cancel the subscription however, and request a refund for it.

click here ➜ If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

then here to request the refund ➜ Contact Apple Support to request a refund

Next time, make sure you cancel and free trials of apps you download if you don't want them renewing into laid subscriptions.
