Hi,

Sawgrass printers do not appear to be listed as AirPrint-compatible in About AirPrint - Apple Support. I cannot find anything about a special iPadOS app from the printer manufacturer either. You may want to contact Sawgrass directly for information.

Since the SG500 and SG1000 printers seem to work with Mac via software/drivers from Sawgrass, one should perhaps not completely rule out the possibility of printing from an iPad through a third-party Mac app like Printopia (https://www.decisivetactics.com/products/printopia/) and a Mac computer. However, that would be experimental.

There are many printers that you can connect to print from on an iPad. Here are some of the most popular:

  • AirPrint-enabled printers: These printers are the easiest to connect to your iPad, as they do not require any additional software or drivers. Some popular AirPrint-enabled printers include the Apple AirPrint Printers, HP Envy 5055, Brother HL-L2395DW, and Canon Pixma TS3120

  • Printers with their own iOS app: Some printers have their own iOS app that allows you to print directly from your iPad. This is a good option if you want more control over your printing settings. Some popular printers with their own iOS apps include the HP Smart app, Brother Mobile Connect, and Canon Print Inkjet app.

  • Printers that use Google Cloud Print: Google Cloud Print is a service that allows you to print to any printer from any device, including your iPad. This is a good option if you have a printer that is not AirPrint-enabled or does not have its own iOS app.

If you are looking for more information specifically on printing labels, label printers and label related machines from which to connect your Apple device to, I highly recommend contacting Northern Label Systems in Preston
