• Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
• If you Forget your Apple ID or Password - Apple Support

B. Password:

• Change your Apple ID Password - Apple Support

If you've been performing this for hours, then your account is probably locked, due to suspicious activity. So, contact Apple Support over-the-phone, requesting assistance. Perform a Trial & Error login Session with the Apple Rep prior to ending the call, just to be certain all is successful.

• Proceed from there as necessary
• Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go
