According to this Apple document, About AirPrint - Apple Support, the HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer is AirPrint compatible.

So if after following leroydouglas' link you still have problem try this: Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem, which is also linked at the bottom of leroy's link.

Does the printer have a screen where you can check to see if it's connected to your LAN?

I had the same problem with my Canon printer on an HP Envy computer (I now have a Mac). I finally found the solution by going to The Canon forum and got help there.

In my case, it had to do with the fact that the printer has no static IP address and once I assigned it to one, the problem has not recurred. It took a few days because I did not know a lot of what I had to do but the user who was helping me was very patient in explaining things to me. I did learn a lot through the experience.

Maybe this could be your problem.
