I don't know why, but pressing Ctrl-Shift now opens App Exposé in an aberrant way, and it conflicts with the shortcuts for screenshots. I've tried everything, but I can't disable it. In my keyboard settings, App Exposé is disabled, yet pressing Ctrl-Shift still activates it.

If you tried everything presumably that included the instructions in Use macOS keyboard shortcuts - Apple Support, and in particular, "If you want to return all the shortcuts to their original keystroke combinations, go to Keyboard settings, click Keyboard Shortcuts, then click Restore Defaults in the lower-left corner."
