I’m trying to allow an app to use speech recognition, but when it prompts me to go to my Settings, it’s not listed there. The app actually isn’t listed in Settings anywhere. I don’t know how to give it permissions if it’s not an option in Settings.
I’ve tried updating and restarting my device, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
Any advice appreciated.

You’ve done some good troubleshooting! Just to be sure, you have opened Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone but do not see your app listed there for you to give it permission to use the microphone, right? If you have done this, then the next step would be to contact the app developer for help.

Berlinda114 - it will depend on several things including which iPhone and iOS you have. For a start, it requires an iOS of 14 or later. You will also need to have enough storage on your iPhone. Have you tried downloading the Google app?
