Creepy text from husband’s icloud

I got a text this morning that looks like it’s from husband’s iCloud.

The creepy text:

Good Morning Sweetheart, hope all is going well. I’m finally home after a long week. The will you all be back in Bowling Green?

1st of all, we don’t use our iCloud account for texting. 2nd it’s creepy b/c he has been gone and we do live in Bowling Green.

Opened suspicious pdf that was texted to iPhone My husband received a text from an unknown sender and clicked on the pdf that had been sent. He showed it to me (something about a toll violation, which is impossible as he doesn’t have a car), and I immediately shut down his phone. I’ve restarted the phone and disconnected it from our home network. I also deleted the message and reported it as junk. Hopefully it will delete from his MacBook as well, but I will check that soon. Is there any way his phone has been infected? What more can I do to insure its safety? He’s using an iPhone 13 Pro which is updated to 18.3.1.

Scam text? Received this this morning? Is it legit? Oddly that is my Son's name but he doesn't even own an IPhone. Thank you!

Scam messages My phone has been stolen one month ago and now I receive so many messages , the last one is from apple.pay.vvc@icloud.com.  Apple Security alert Your iPhone 14 has been jailbroken in China, for the safety of your personal information and funds, please use Find My to remove your Apple Id and change your password. Apple support Are these messages a scam or are they for real?
