It's been a while now that I can't access the content of the library on my Mac via the orange icon on the Apple TV.
Home sharing is on.
Media Sharing is on.
It's not a network problem as I can do the screen mirroring.
The account is the same on both side.
It just keeps on telling me there is no library available.

Try force-quitting the Computers app, then relaunch.
Try switching Home Sharing off and then on again on the Mac.
Try restarting both the Apple TV box and the Mac.

I’m rather stumped. It should work with these checks passed. At this time, I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).

Me too! I was hoping someone would have the one setting/step I missed ...
But it looks like I had done it all. And I tried again after your message, and still the same.
Everything is working: screen sharing, photos, ... but not the library.
I'll get in touch with the support.
