Photos vs people face recognition since 16.4

When Photos has merged the faces of two people in one album, it has learned, that the two faces are very similar.

If we just move the incorrectly named faces out of wrong people album, it does not help much, because this album will continually attract the similar faces.

When the face is continually put back into the wrong People album, we have to recreate this album from scratch so it can learn again what the person looks like, based only on correct faces.

What I have done to fix the misclassification is the following:

• First, I collected all photos from the person where wrong faces get added in a new standard album, to be able to find them quickly in an album.
• Then I added a new temporary Contact card for the person, where the wrong pictures are added, so we can tell Photos the faces belong to a different, new person. We have to use a name for this person, that has never been used with Photos, try a new nickname - that is why we need an additional Contact card.
• Then I removed all faces of this person from the previous People album with "This is not ..." and added them immediately to the new album - constantly checking that Photos is not adding again wrong faces. These have to be removed immediately.
• And I collected all faces of the other person, that got misclassified, in a second new people album, so Photos will not try to assign them again to the wrong person, as they already have a name. When I do not know the name of the person, I use a phantasy name, "Stranger One" or similar.

I have used the new people albums with the new contact cards for several weeks, until the face recognition seemed to be stable.
