impossible to change my id password after following all the instructions and waiting the 24 hours. What is my next step. It is silly to have to wait 13 days.

Do you really have to wait 13 days to be able to change your password? Unfortunately, I never got the correct one when I first purchased my iphone se 2020.

If you are not the owner and do not have the Apple ID and Password then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their Apple ID.

Well, I have tried that. What happens is it continues to ask for the original password for the apple "forgot password" and then when that is clicked it sends you a code to your phone which when entered is useless. You are then sent into a round of another rejection of any new passwords that are created. There is no solution unless you want to setup an appointment. So sad.
