I need to change my Apple ID as the email address is no longer available to me. I need to change it on my iphone and ipad.

I HAVE MY ICLOUD SETUP ON MY IPAD AND IPHONE TO AN EMAIL ADDRESS THAT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO ME. HOW DO I CHANGE THE ICOULD AS NOTHING I’VE TRIED WORKS SO FAR.
