Select and Copy text

I still cannot copy the selected text. This has been ongoing since IOS 16..

Previous tutorials instructed to double tap a word and use bars to select a string of text. Or triple tap to select the entire paragraph. How to fix copy/paste issues on latest iOS I am able to copy text by tapping and holding text in my apps, but when I go to select into an input, the only option I get is to [scan text], apples latest hot feature, but not helpful for the majority of my mobile tasks. E.g., copy an address into Google maps, or ride share app, etc. any advice on how to fix would be really appreciated!

There are two ways.

Change the Keyboard to Trackpad to move the insertion point (Cursor). Press and Hold the spacebar and move your fingers!
Also, the second option is to touch and slide your finger, watch the gif below
