NHS 0300 numbers

Hi there,

Anyone else have a problem with receiving NHS 0300 numbers? When they call me on an 0300 number it goes straight to voicemail without ringing. My phone is not on 'Focus' or on silent mode. I'm on Vodafone. Any ideas...?

Unknown number calls not coming though, even though “silence unknown Callers” is turned off I’ve had a few instances recently were people have tried to call me from a number that is not in my contacts, and they are sent straight to voicemail. I don’t get a missed call notification, it’s not in my recent call log and it doesn’t even ring. The only reason I know they’ve called is because I either have a new voicemail, or they tell me in person they have been trying to reach me. “Silence unknown callers” is toggled off, and Do Not Disturb is not on. I do get some unknown numbers ringing through, but I know some are not! It’s very odd and any help would be appreciated. It’s been a nightmare recently as I’ve missed some very important calls!

Calls going directly to voicemail within hospital I am a physician and take calls within a hospital. About 3 weeks ago my phone stopped receiving calls from hospital phones. I surveyed the literature on the internet and on this forum and have checked and triple-checked all the recommendations. I called my service provider and we went through their checklist and all of them were turned up as not the cause however they were pretty much what I have seen from Apple. We ended up creating an eSim and I thought this may have helped however it is not sustained or never really solved the problem. It created a different, unrelated problem which is another story.The calls are not frequent enough to know if it was fixed or not. however at this time when I pick up the hospital phone and dial my number it goes directly to voicemail. I checked everything and even toggled the suspect areas to make sure, including the silence of unknown callers, and reset my provider carrier settings . It created a different, unrelated problem which is another story. I am thinking of resetting my phone as it worked before. However, it would be nice to know what causes this "malfunction". Thoughts?

iPhone not ringing when some numbers call. My volume is up, do not disturb is off and yet some incoming calls are not heard. Important calls from my bank, and the NHS don’t come through and these are not blocked numbers. I don’t know the numbers, so can’t call back I still get spam calls and many calls from unknown numbers! please help if you can, I’ve tried everything I can think of.

Hey hellbunker14,

For issues receiving a call from a specific contact, we recommend that you reach out to your wireless carrier Vodafone for more information. Double check to make sure there are no issues on their end and try restarting your device to see if it helps: Restart your iPhone

Also, be sure to keep your carrier settings updated to the latest version: Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad
