What happened to Complications on the Apple Watch?

Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to go back to the older complications on Apple Watch? Some are now simply stupid! For example, why do I need to be given yesterday's date and tomorrow's when all I need is today's? If I don't know that 14 and 16 are each side of 15 then I've got real problems!!

Apple made a number of changes to watch faces when WatchOS 9 was released. That is not something anyone here can change as it's baked into WatchOS. Your only options are to choose a face which may better meet your needs, or use the link LD150 provided to share your thoughts with Apple.

I think choosing a face which better meets your needs is the simplest, least time consuming option available to you, but perhaps that's just me.

With respect, that doesn't deal with the issue at all. I know perfectly well how to add and remove complications, but Apple changed the way that complications are presented on many watch faces, so that, for example, the Today's Date complication no longer shows just today's date, but also yesterday's and tomorrow's on an arc. Similarly the display of temperature shows an arc with the current temperature somewhere along it. The battery percentage is also shown alongside an arc. The first two of these are completely pointless and convey no useful additional information. The last isn't of much use as the 0% and 100% points aren't shown, so you don't know how long the arc should be if you want to see the percentage graphically rather than than simply read it. Again a pointless change. All Apple need to do is allow us to use the complications as they were. The current design for (at least these complications) is stupid.

Thanks to all. The problem with choosing a new face is that virtually all of the more conventional faces have the same problematic complications. I think any circular face has these issues if the complications are around the outside of the face indicia. I did find some squarish faces with internal complications which obviously avoid the arcuate complications. I’ll just have to badger Apple to let us use the old complications as well!
