Apple Watch in France

I have an Apple watch model A2477. It is hooked up to my Verizon cellular plan. My Verizon plan is set up for European travel. Will my watch work in Paris if I don't have my iPhone on me?

A North American purchased Apple Watch will only work on North American cellular networks. The frequency bands in Europe are different, and it will not connect. Your watch will behave like the GPS model and if your iPhone is out of range it will have very limited function.
