Apple watch wont turn on

I first noticed my watch having issues yesterday when I was using it in water(water proof mode was on). After that, the crown was glitching and was constantly pressing itself. I resetted my watch(series 8) multiple times. I then tried to update its software to WatchOS 9.3.1. When I put the watch on its charger, the watch began losing power at an astonishing rate(losing about 1% every 20 seconds.) Eventually, while it was downloading the latest OS, the watch died and will not turn back on. I have tried everything I know,(cleaning, resetting, etc.) and everything I read online. Nothing works. I dont want to have to take it to a repair store but if I need to I will. Thanks to anyone who might have an answer.
