My AirTag won’t load after I pulled tag

what should I do?

  1. Press down on the polished stainless steel battery cover of your AirTag and rotate counterclockwise until the cover stops rotating.
  2. Remove the cover and battery. Make sure that there is no leftover from the tag.
  3. Put the battery back in and screw the cover.


If the issue persists, try using another CR2032 battery. If you use a child-proof CR2032 battery, wash it first. The child-proof coating may prevent the AirTag to operate.
