Score Showing on Home Screen MLS Season Pass

Why does the score show if I try to watch a game after it has already started? Sometimes I have a conflict and can't watch the game until maybe 30 minutes after it has started. When I try to watch the game from the beginning the current score shows up on the game screen on the home page. It is as bad as having someone tell you the score of a game when you haven't had a chance to watch the recording.

Is there any way to get rid of the score?
