my iphone says unavailable.

how do i get it to work,I tried reconnecting through computer and updating but no help.

Hello marpriya!


If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support, then you will have to reset your iPhone to regain access.


After you have regained access to your iPhone, you will want to Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled or unavailable -

Troubleshooting a Locked Account:


Why Accounts Become Locked:

When your iTunes Account has been disabled, and that often happens due to suspicious activity --- Perhaps nothing on your part. They disable it for no more than Security & Privacy concerns.


Possible Reasons Could Include: 

  • Too many unsuccessful login attempts
  • VPN (Virtual Private Network) usage
  • Consistent transactions
  • Session Times Out
  • Disobeying Terms & Conditions
