Magnetic wristband

The wristband on my wife’s watch keeps coming loose. I have read a load of comments but none provide guidance from Apple re their replacement policy. Going to an Apple Store whilst fun is not convenient for us with no guarantee of a result! What is the policy from Apple since under U.K. consumer law it would seem to be a design defect. Thanks

Safety concern apple watch blister/burn I have reported a safety concern through the product complain system a couple of times over the last couple of weeks. The apple watch caused a blister/burn on my wrist causing infection under where the sensor touches my skin (pictures below). After reporting it to the manager at the store on Saturday 12/9/23 | was advised to permanently stop wearing the watch (they mentioned multiple reports of this). The watch was returned to the store on 12/16/23 with all accessories. I attempted to submit a formal complaint from the store but it is unknown to me if what was written on a store device was submitted. I have not received a formal confirmation from either complaint system. Formal acknowledgement of receipt would be appreciated and follow up welcome.

Apple Watch Band Broken Hello, My steel link band recently broke. My watch is perfectly fine, but one of the release pieces broke off. My watch is still in warranty for another 11 months. What should I do? Is there a way to only get the band replaced? Or do I have to send the entire watch in as a repair claim?

Milanese band scratches Apple Watch case (!) I own a stainless steel Apple Watch 7 and bought it together with the stainless steel Milanese band directly from Apple. Within a day or two, I already had scratches on the Watch body. At first I thought it was me, but now I noticed many other people who have the same issue. I spoke to Apple support and now it seems this is “cosmetic damage” that occurs due to “normal use” and Apple doesn’t do anything about it, not even with Apple Care+. This is unacceptable in my opinion: if you know the band causes scratches (and seeing how many people have this issue, this should be a known issue), you should at least get a huge message on your order form to beware of this risk. Since it’s hardly possible to put on / take off the Watch without the band touching the case, or replace the band (I also own a sports band, since the steel is not very convenient when working out) without the same happening, in my opinion, Apple should not sell this band at all. I spent over EUR900 on the watch (EUR829 on itself) plus band, and if I would have known this in advance, I would have never bought this band but would have chosen a different material. Honestly I believe Apple should replace the body and should offer to replace the band. But as said, Apple is not doing a thing and now I’m walking around with scratches on my high end Apple Watch. I already sent in feedback, but I wonder if Apple will do anything about this. My advise: DO NOT buy the Milanese band if you would like to keep your Watch as new. And if Apple is reading this: some better after sales would be great.

I suggest, instead of visiting the store, to contact Apple Support directly and ask. You can do so simply by selecting the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
