imessage notice appearing

This notice appears every time I log into my Mac, never seen this before today, I'v never used it.

Is this a genuine Apple notice and how do I stop this?

Why did I get this message and now I feel somebody has invaded my apple id? Keep in mind, I don't use imessage on my MACbook. I don't have bluetooth on and everything else is pretty secured. Suspicious Message A message has appeared on my iMac saying the following: “Your Apple ID is now being used for iMessage and FaceTime on a new iPhone.” I don’t have a new iPhone so does anybody know what this could mean please?

Will simply reading a spam message cause harm? I received a text message that is obviously spam. I don't even want to click on it but after reading the support article from Apple, it seems that to eliminate it from imessage on my Mac, I must. Or not? Please advise. If I do click on the message can that alone cause harm to my Mac? I will not click on any included links. Thanks.
