This software is not supported on your system. I currently run High Sierra 10.13.6 and I want to upgrade to either Mojave or Catalina

I get this error when I tried to upgrade from High Sierra to either Mojave or Catalina. "This software is not supported on your system."

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

You need a 2012 or later iMac to run Mojave or Catalina.
